Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 is student’s gateway to a fulfilling medical career in this beautiful northeastern state. While there’s only one medical college offering over 50 MBBS seats – the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, Naharlagun – the counselling process holds immense significance for aspiring doctors. The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education (APDHTE) conducts the counselling for the 85% state quota seats at APMC.
The remaining 15% of MBBS seats in Arunachal Pradesh fall under the All India Quota (AIQ). The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) handles the counselling for these AIQ seats. If you dream of studying medicine in a college outside of Arunachal Pradesh, you’ll need to register for the separate MCC All India Counselling.
To participate in the Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling for the state quota seats, you must be a qualified NEET UG 2024 candidate with a domicile certificate proving your residency in the state. The counselling process typically involves online registration, choice filling for preferred colleges and programs, seat allotment based on merit and seat availability, and finally, reporting to the allotted college for document verification and admission formalities
