Punjab NEET Counselling 2024 conducted by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), counselling follows a Fair and transparent approach to admittance for the medical and dental courses in the state. The registration for Punjab NEET Counselling 2024 second round is ongoing. Candidates wishing to surrender their Round-1 seat with a free exit must apply to their college principal by 20th September 2024. Those participating in the second round can submit their course and college preferences online until the 21st of September. Seat allotment results are announced on 25th September, with objections accepted until 26th September. Admissions for selected candidates take place from 28th September to 5th October. The total number of dental colleges is 16, about 1260  are available for admission.

The counselling is typically held in 4 rounds from which the last round (Stray Vacancy round) is optional in case any seats remain. The State Counselling conducting authority manages over 85% of admission of seats through the State Quota Admission and Medical Counselling Committee oversees about 15% of the admission of seats within the States. Eligible candidates who are NEET 2024 exam qualified are advised to do the registration before the deadline and should have NEET 2024 exam result.

Punjab NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2024

NEET Qualification	Must have qualified in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) with the minimum qualifying percentile/marks set by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Punjab Domicile	Must possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority of the Punjab government.

MBBS/BDS Cutoff is minimum score that student must achieve in NEET Exam to qualify for admission to MBBS/BDS Course in Medical/Dental Colleges in India.  The cutoff varies each year based on factors like the number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats. Punjab NEET Counselling 2024 Procedure

• Access the Application Form: Go to the University website: www.bfuhs.ac.in. Click the link labeled “Click here to apply admission application form for admission to MBBS/BDS Course under NEET UG-2024” on the homepage.
• Check Seat Matrix: Before starting the application, review the seat matrix for MBBS/BDS courses for the 2024 session.
• Start the Application Process: Click on “Click here to apply for MBBS/BDS online counseling under NEET UG-2024” on the homepage.
• Login: Enter your Registration Number and Password in the login window. Click on the “Submit” button.
• Read Instructions: Read all provided instructions carefully. Tick the box indicating “I have read and understood all the instructions.” Click on the “Continue” button.
• Dashboard Overview: After logging in, your dashboard will appear. Check the seat matrix by clicking on the “Colleges/Seat Matrix” icon at the top panel.
• Fill Admission Form (Step-I): Click on the “Fill/Edit Admission Form (Step-I)” icon. Complete the admission application form as required.
• Accept Declaration and Proceed: After filling out the form, click the green icon labeled “Accept Declaration and Continue to Choice Filling.”

Counselling Process -State Quota

1. Registration and Application (Before Deadline):

• Register and apply: Create an account and meticulously fill out the online application form. Ensure you enter all details accurately and completely.
• Prepare required documents: Have scanned copies of your photograph (30 KB, specific format) and signature (30 KB, specific format) ready for upload, as per the guidelines mentioned in the notification.
• Pay the application fee: Submit the application fee through the designated online payment gateway before the deadline. Don't miss this crucial step, as incomplete applications will be rejected.

2. Document Verification (if applicable):

• Check your category: If you belong to a micro-reserved category, attend the document verification process at the designated venue and date mentioned in the official schedule. Bring all original documents for verification to ensure your eligibility.

3. Provisional Merit List and Online Counselling:

• Merit list release: Stay updated on the BFUHS website for the announcement of the provisional merit list, which ranks candidates based on their NEET-UG 2023 scores.
• Online counselling participation: During the designated dates, actively participate in the online counselling process through the official portal. This is where you express your preferences for:

MCC NEET Counselling Registration Process - All India Quota

Step	Description
Step 1: Update Contact Information	Ensure that the email address and mobile number provided during the NEET UG application process are accurate. These will be used for MCC registration and communication.
Step 2: Await Communication	All communication, including information and updates regarding counseling, will be sent by MCC of DGHS, MoHFW via email to the registered email address or SMS to the mobile number.
Step 3: No Changes Allowed	Requests to change the registered mobile number or email address will not be entertained by the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW.
Step 4: Recommended Device and Browser	Use a laptop or computer with the latest versions of Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Windows, or iOS for registration and choice-filling to avoid technical complications.
Step 5: Register on MCC Website	Qualified and eligible candidates must register on the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in) to participate in the counseling process for seat allotment.
Step 6: Sandes App for OTP	Download the Sandes app to receive OTP on the registered phone number for registration.

MCC NEET UG Counselling Process includes four rounds, each with its own set of rules and procedures. The counselling process begins with Round 1 & concludes with a Final Stray Vacancy Round, where remaining vacant seats are filled through fresh registrations, ensuring all available positions are occupied. Candidates must upload essential certificates after each round’s result declaration to facilitate the verification process. Below is the step-by-step process for each round,

Round 1:
