The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the revised NEET UG 2024 result today. This update will change the ranks of 1.3 million students. You can check the results on the official websites neet.ntaonline.in and exams.nta.ac.in
Why Is the Result Being Revised?
The NTA is revising the NEET UG 2024 result based on a Supreme Court order regarding a question in the Physics section (question number 19). The court found that the correct answer was different from what was initially considered. As a result, the ranks of 1.3 million students will change, affecting the overall merit list and All India Rankings.
For example, 44 out of the 61 students who initially scored a perfect 720 will now have 715 marks. The number of students with a perfect score will drop to 17. This change will significantly impact the admission race to top medical colleges like AIIMS.
How to Check Your Revised NEET Scorecard
