Madhya Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024

Madhya Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 is held for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses at various medical and dental colleges throughout the state. While the exact number of colleges offering these courses is subject to change, it’s important to remember that NEET is a national-level exam, and Madhya Pradesh counselling is limited to government and private colleges in the state. However, there are 2,338 MBBS seats in 14 government medical colleges, with 348 reserved for all-India quota, 29 for central pool quota, and 1,961 for state quota and there are 12 Private medical colleges offer 2,300 MBBS seats. There is 01 BDS government dental college with 63 BDS seats and 1320 private BDS seats in 14 colleges. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) manages the All India Quota (AIQ) seats through separate processes.

Fresh registration for NEET UG 2024 qualified candidates is open from 27/09/2024 to 08/10/2024 (until 11:59 PM). Existing registered candidates do not need to re-register. The revised State Merit List and vacancy information will be published on 09/10/2024. Choice filling is mandatory from 10/10/2024 to 14/10/2024 (until 11:59 PM). The Mop-Up Round allotment result will be announced on 18/10/2024, with reporting for admission from 19/10/2024 to 23/10/2024 (until 06:00 PM).

State quota counselling is conducted for 85% of seats in government medical & dental colleges and 100% of seats in private medical & dental Colleges. It's important to remember that the MCC manages the 15% AIQ seats in all medical colleges across India, including Madhya Pradesh, and they're not part of the state counselling.  Candidates for these seats must register for separate MCC counselling sessions.

MP NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility CriteriaDescription
NationalityThe candidate must be an Indian citizen.
DomicileCandidates should be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh or have completed their 10th and 12th education from a school in Madhya Pradesh.
NEET QualificationCandidates must have qualified the NEET 2024 examination with the required minimum percentile.
Age LimitThe candidate should be at least 17 years old on or before December 31, 2024. The upper age limit is 25 years for general category candidates and 30 years for reserved category candidates.
Educational QualificationCandidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as main subjects.
Minimum MarksGeneral category candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology). For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum required marks are 40%. For PwD candidates, it is 45%.

MP NEET Counselling College Wise Cutoff (MBBS/BDS)

MBBS/BDS Cutoff is minimum score that student must achieve in NEET Exam to qualify for admission to MBBS/BDS Course in Medical/Dental Colleges in India.  The cutoff varies each year based on factors like the number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats. Candidates are advised to refer the cutoff list to understand their eligibility based on college cutoff.

Profile Creation Process - State Quota

Madhya Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 registration process is entirely online. Here's a detailed guide to walk you through each step:

  • Visit the Official Website: Go to dme.mponline.gov.in for the DME MP NEET UG Counselling (2024-25).
  • Access Under Graduation Counselling: Click on “Under Graduation Counselling (MBBS/BDS)” on the website.
  • Create Your Profile:: Click on the “Create Profile” option and Enter your NEET UG 2024 Roll Number, Secret Key, and Captcha, then click on the “Create Profile” button. Please pay attention to the important note regarding the creation of the Secret Key displayed on the screen. Click on the “Create Profile” button.
  • Enter and Update Personal Details: Your details will be displayed on the screen. Enter your contact details and bank account information, then click on the “Update” button. Ensure that your bank details are filled out carefully. Provide the mobile number that you will use throughout the counselling process, as OTPs and relevant messages will be sent to this number.
  • Validate and Save: Enter the OTP received on your mobile number/email ID and create a new password. Click on the “Validate and Save” button.
  • Profile Creation Confirmation: After clicking on the “Validate and Save” button, a confirmation message will appear: “You have created your profile successfully. Now proceed for Registration to participate in DME UG 2024 Counselling.” The registration process includes filling out the registration form, uploading documents, making the payment, confirming your registration, and printing your receipt.

Registration Process for DME MP NEET UG Counselling

  • Access the Registration Form: After successful profile creation, the Candidate’s Status Tracker will turn green, indicating that your profile has been created. Now, click on the “Registration Form” link.
  • Fill Out the Registration Form: The registration form will open. Fill in the required details, such as NRI Details, Domicile Details, Category Details, PWD Details, Freedom Fighter/Sainik Details, Students of MP Govt Schools, and Qualifying Exam Details (10+2). If satisfied with the information filled in, click on the “Save Data” button.
  • Upload Documents: Upload the necessary documents, then click on the “Save Enclosures” button.
  • Review and Proceed to Payment: After clicking on the “Save Enclosures” button, your submitted information will be displayed on the screen. If the information is correct, click on the “Proceed to Payment for Registration” button. If corrections are needed, click on the “Back to Registration Form” button.
  • Make Payment: Choose the online payment gateway and pay the Registration Fee.
