Counselling Registration - State Quota

Counselling Process - State Quota

Registration:

• Register Online: Once the registration window opens, visit the GMCH website and register as a new candidate. You will receive a confirmation email with your login credentials.

Choice Filling and Locking:

• Login and Fill Preferences: After registration, use your login credentials to access the counselling portal. Fill in your choices for colleges and programs according to your preference, prioritizing the most desired options first.
• Lock Your Choices: Once satisfied with your choices, review them carefully and lock your preferences. Note: Locked choices cannot be edited later.

Seat Allotment and Reporting:

• Seat Allotment Rounds: The counselling authority will conduct two online seat allotment rounds based on your rank and choices. You can check these results on the counselling portal.
• Accept or Report: If you are allotted a seat in any round, you have two options:
• Accept: Accept the allotted seat by paying the required fees and reporting to the allotted college within the stipulated timeframe. This confirms your admission.
• Decline: If you decline the allotted seat, you can participate in the next round (if available).

Mop-Up Round (Optional):

• If seats remain vacant after the regular rounds, a mop-up round might be conducted. You can participate in this round if you haven't secured a seat earlier.
