The Bihar NEET Counselling 2024 Round 2 registration is open from 6th to 8th September. Candidates who receive seats in AFMC, Pune, can resign by 11th September. The provisional seat allotment result released on 16th September, and document verification happens from 17th to 19th September. Fresh choice filling occurs between the 13th and 17th September, and the final result is announced on the 20th of September. Candidates report to colleges from 22nd to 26th September. NEET Counselling Registration - State Quota
To apply for the Bihar NEET Counselling 2024, follow these steps:
Step-One - Registration:
- Visit the Online Application Portal of UGMAC-2024 (https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/) and click on the “Apply Online” button.
- Fill in the required information, including your NEET-UG 2024 Roll Number.
- Click the “Verify” button, and enter your Date of Birth and other required details.
- Ensure that you provide your own email ID and mobile number, as OTPs will be sent to these for verification.
- Once verified, the registered email ID and mobile number cannot be changed throughout the UGMAC-2024 Counselling process.
- After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email.
- Log in using your email ID and password to continue with the application process.
- Keep your password confidential to avoid complications with your application.
Step Two - Personal Information:
- Sign in to your account after registration.
- Complete the personal information section on the application form.
- Click “Save & Continue” to proceed.
Step Three - Upload Photo and Signature:
- Upload your passport-sized photograph (as per NEET-UG 2024 requirements) and your full signature (in Hindi and English, not in capital letters).
- Click “Save & Continue” after uploading.
Step-Four - Educational Information:
- Enter your educational details on the application form.
- Click “Save & Continue” to move to the next step.
Step-Five - Preview Your Application:
- Review all the information entered in Steps 2, 3, and 4.
- If any corrections are needed, click “Back to Edit” to make changes.

Step-Six - Payment of Counselling Fee and Security Deposit:

Method of Selection and Admission - State Quota
The selection and admission process for UGMAC-2024 will adhere to the updated rules of the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The process is outlined as follows:
Merit List and Counselling Rounds: The merit list for UGMAC-2024 will be based on NEET (UG)-2024 scores as provided by the Department of Health, Government of Bihar. There will be four rounds of counselling, All rounds of counselling will be conducted online. Candidates who did not register or submit their application form before Round 1 can do so in Round 3.
Counselling Procedure - State Quota
Choice Filling:
- Candidates must fill out their choices online based on the merit list. The choice-filling window will be open as per the schedule published in the advertisement.
- After filling choices, seat allotment results will be published on the Board’s website.
Document Verification and Admission:
- Round-1:
- Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to the designated reporting centre for document verification.
- After verification, if eligible, the candidate will either take admission or opt for a free exit.
- If a candidate opts for upgradation during Round 1, their documents will be retained for consideration in Round 2.
- Round-2:
- Candidates with a seat retained from Round 1 must report to the reporting centre with their Round 1 document verification slip and take admission with the payment of the requisite fee.
- For upgraded seats in Round 2, candidates must collect their original documents from the Round 1 reporting centre and report to the Round 2 centre for verification and admission.
- Free Exit:
- Candidates who did not report for verification in Round 1 or chose free exit will be eligible for Fresh Choice Filling in Round 2.
Further Rounds:
- Candidates who join a seat in Round 2 are not eligible for further rounds of counselling.
- Candidates not allotted a seat in Round 1 or who opted for free exit will be eligible for Fresh Choice Filling in Round 2.
- The security deposit will be refunded to candidates who do not get a seat in Round-1 or Round-2, or who join a seat.
Seat Allotment Conditions:
- If a candidate opts for upgradation and retains their Round-1 seat in Round-2, they cannot vacate the seat.
- Candidates whose seats are cancelled due to discrepancies during document verification will be eligible for Fresh Choice Filling in Round 2.
- Candidates joining a seat in Round 2 cannot vacate it.
