Bihar NEET Counselling 2024 is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for admission to Medical & Dental colleges in Bihar. The Bihar NEET Counselling 2024 Round 2 registration is open from 6th to 8th September. Candidates who receive seats in AFMC, Pune, can resign by 11th September. The provisional seat allotment result released on 16th September, and document verification happens from 17th to 19th September. Fresh choice filling occurs between the 13th and 17th September, and the final result is announced on the 20th of September. Candidates report to colleges from 22nd to 26th September. Over 21 medical and 6 dental colleges are contributing to the medical landscape of the state, it has also shown improvement in the healthcare sector in Bihar. Bihar NEET Counselling proposed over 2652 MBBS seats for medical colleges and over 340 BDS seats for dental colleges. Counselling usually follows a simple course of steps which includes Registration, Choice filling and locking, Merit list, Seat Allotment, document verification, necessary formalities reporting to colleges.  Candidates are requested to register themselves on the official website to participate in Bihar NEET Counselling. Bihar NEET Counselling College Wise Cutoff (MBBS/BDS)

MBBS/BDS Cutoff is the minimum score that a student must achieve in the NEET Exam to qualify for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges in India.  The cutoff varies each year based on factors like the number of candidates, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats. Bihar NEET Counselling Seat Matrix (MBBS/BDS)

Bihar NEET Counselling Seat Matrix is the distribution of available MBBS and BDS seats across government and private medical and dental colleges in the state. This seat matrix is important for candidates participating in the counselling process, as it helps them identify the number of seats allocated for various categories, such as General, SC, ST, OBC, and EWS, among others. The seat matrix also indicates the seats reserved under different quotas, including state quota, management quota, and NRI quota.

NEET Counselling Registration - State Quota

To apply for the Bihar NEET Counselling 2024, follow these steps:

Step-One - Registration:

  • Visit the Online Application Portal of UGMAC-2024 (https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/) and click on the “Apply Online” button.
  • Fill in the required information, including your NEET-UG 2024 Roll Number.
  • Click the “Verify” button, and enter your Date of Birth and other required details.
  • Ensure that you provide your own email ID and mobile number, as OTPs will be sent to these for verification.
  • Once verified, the registered email ID and mobile number cannot be changed throughout the UGMAC-2024 Counselling process.
  • After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email.
  • Log in using your email ID and password to continue with the application process.
  • Keep your password confidential to avoid complications with your application.

Step Two - Personal Information:

  • Sign in to your account after registration.
  • Complete the personal information section on the application form.
  • Click “Save & Continue” to proceed.

Step Three - Upload Photo and Signature:

  • Upload your passport-sized photograph (as per NEET-UG 2024 requirements) and your full signature (in Hindi and English, not in capital letters).
  • Click “Save & Continue” after uploading.

Step-Four - Educational Information:

  • Enter your educational details on the application form.
  • Click “Save & Continue” to move to the next step.

Step-Five - Preview Your Application:

  • Review all the information entered in Steps 2, 3, and 4.
  • If any corrections are needed, click “Back to Edit” to make changes.
  • Once the information is correct, click “Save & Continue” and then provide your declaration.

Step-Six - Payment of Counselling Fee and Security Deposit:

  • Click “Proceed to Payment” to complete the payment process.
  • The counselling fee is non-refundable.
  • Pay the counselling fee through online methods (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI)

Step-Seven - Downloading of Part-A & Part-B:

  • After completing the payment, download the Hard Copy of Part-A and Part-B of the online application form.
  • Keep these documents safe as they contain your provided information and the UGMAC-ID for future use during counselling.

Method of Selection and Admission - State Quota

The selection and admission process for UGMAC-2024 will adhere to the updated rules of the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The process is outlined as follows:

Merit List and Counselling Rounds: The merit list for UGMAC-2024 will be based on NEET (UG)-2024 scores as provided by the Department of Health, Government of Bihar. There will be four rounds of counselling, All rounds of counselling will be conducted online. Candidates who did not register or submit their application form before Round 1 can do so in Round 3.

Counselling Procedure - State Quota

Choice Filling:

  • Candidates must fill out their choices online based on the merit list. The choice-filling window will be open as per the schedule published in the advertisement.
  • After filling choices, seat allotment results will be published on the Board’s website.

Document Verification and Admission:

  • Round-1:
    • Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to the designated reporting centre for document verification.
    • After verification, if eligible, the candidate will either take admission or opt for a free exit.
    • If a candidate opts for upgradation during Round 1, their documents will be retained for consideration in Round 2.
  • Round-2:
    • Candidates with a seat retained from Round 1 must report to the reporting centre with their Round 1 document verification slip and take admission with the payment of the requisite fee.
    • For upgraded seats in Round 2, candidates must collect their original documents from the Round 1 reporting centre and report to the Round 2 centre for verification and admission.
  • Free Exit:
    • Candidates who did not report for verification in Round 1 or chose free exit will be eligible for Fresh Choice Filling in Round 2.

Further Rounds:

  • Candidates who join a seat in Round 2 are not eligible for further rounds of counselling.
  • Candidates not allotted a seat in Round 1 or who opted for free exit will be eligible for Fresh Choice Filling in Round 2.
  • The security deposit will be refunded to candidates who do not get a seat in Round-1 or Round-2, or who join a seat.

Seat Allotment Conditions:

  • If a candidate opts for upgradation and retains their Round-1 seat in Round-2, they cannot vacate the seat.
  • Candidates whose seats are cancelled due to discrepancies during document verification will be eligible for Fresh Choice Filling in Round 2.
  • Candidates joining a seat in Round 2 cannot vacate it.

Step 8: Physical ReportingCarry original documents during physical reporting to the allotted college to confirm seat allotment and complete admission procedures.

MCC NEET UG Counselling Process - All India Quota

MCC NEET UG Counselling Process includes four rounds, each with its own set of rules and procedures. The counselling process begins with Round 1 & concludes with a Final Stray Vacancy Round, where remaining vacant seats are filled through fresh registrations, ensuring all available positions are occupied. Candidates must upload essential certificates after each round’s result declaration to facilitate the verification process. Below is the step-by-step process for each round,

Round 1:

  • a) Main Counseling Registration: Candidates register and pay a non-refundable registration fee along with a refundable security deposit.
  • b) Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates choose their preferred colleges and courses and lock their choices.
  • c) Seat Allotment: Seats are allocated based on choices and merit.
  • d) Publication of Round 1 Result: Results are published on the MCC website.
  • e) Uploading Essential Certificates: Candidates upload necessary certificates after the result declaration.
  • f) Physical Reporting: Candidates report to allotted colleges with original documents. They can opt for an upgrade to Round 2 if desired.

Round 2:

  • a) Eligibility for Round 2: Candidates not allotted any seat in Round 1 or not reported, need not register again.
  • b) Fresh Registration: New registration for Round 2 with full payment for those who didn’t register in Round 1.
  • c) Fresh Choice Filling: Candidates submit new choices for Round 2.

Final Stray Vacancy Round:

  • Fresh registrations are conducted for vacant seats.
  • Conducted for AIQ, Deemed University seats, and as per Supreme Court directions.
  • Candidates allotted seats must join; failure to do so results in debarment from NEET for one year.
