According to Your NEET Rank through NEETÂ Counselling.
Over 2288 medical and 176 dental seats throughout 13 medical and 3 dental colleges in Assam. Against the backdrop of increased competition, candidates went through a stringent selection process wherein admission was primarily determined by their NEET scores. The counselling panels evaluated each applicant's academic performance, alongside their preferences for medical colleges and courses, striving to accommodate the aspirations of students while maintaining the integrity of the selection process. Students from a variety of backgrounds were guaranteed fair access to opportunities by taking into account factors other than academic merit, such as reservation quotas and domicile status.
Typically, the counselling process entails document verification, seat assignment, choice filling, and registration. It is necessary for candidates to register online and indicate which colleges and courses they prefer. The candidates are then given seats in different medical and dental colleges in Assam based on their preferences and NEET scores. To improve their chances of getting a seat in a preferred institute, candidates must carefully consider their choices during the choice-filling stage. Following seat assignment, candidates must report to the specified colleges to have their documents verified and the admissions process completed.
