NEET Counselling Registration - State Quota
After the NEET 2024 results are announced, Dr. N.T.R University of Health Sciences will release the prospectus for MBBS and BDS admissions. Candidates can apply online through the university’s official website: https://drntr.uhsap.in/
Step 1: Registration
- Visit https://drntr.uhsap.in/ and go to the Home page.
- Fill in your NEET UG – 2024 Roll Number and mandatory details like Caste Category, PwBD status, Email, Mobile Number, and Password.
- Click on the "REGISTER" button.
- An OTP will be sent to your registered Mobile and Email IDs. Enter this OTP on the screen.
- Once verified, you'll receive a user ID and password for login.
Step 2: Payment
- Log in using the provided credentials.
- You'll be directed to the Payment Gateway.
- Pay the registration fee based on your caste category.
- After successful payment, you'll see a confirmation message. Take a printout if needed.
- Click "EXIT" and then log in again to proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Data Update
- Log in again and fill out the application form displayed.
- Upload a Passport Size Photo and Signature (both should be less than 100 KB and in JPEG or JPG format).
- If you change your caste category during this step, you'll be prompted to pay any difference in the registration fee.
- After filling the form, tick the declaration and click on the "update" button.
- Review all details and click "update" again to confirm. You can edit or go back if needed.
Step 4: Document Upload
- After successfully updating your data, you'll be directed to the document upload page.

NEET Counselling Process - State Quota
Registration: Registration will begin first for the Competent Authority Quota, followed by Category B (Management Quota). During registration, candidates must upload the necessary documents, which will be verified by Dr. NTR University.
Payment of Fee
- Login again: Use your credentials from registration.
- Go to Payment Gateway: Pay the registration fee based on your category.
- Successful payment: Receive confirmation message and printout.

- Upload documents: Scanned passport photo and signature (JPEG/JPG, <100KB).

Choice Filling and Locking
- Choice filling window: Select preferred colleges and courses based on ranks.

Publication of Merit List: After document verification, the final merit list will be published. Admission will be conducted by Dr. N.T.R University of Health Sciences through three rounds of online counseling: the first round, the second round, and the mop-up round.
Counseling Rounds - State Quota
First Round (Web-Based Counseling)
- Eligible candidates whose names appear on the merit list must exercise their web options by filling out their choices on the university's website.
- After seat allotment, candidates must pay the university fee online:
- Competent Authority Quota: ₹25,100/-
- Management Quota & NRI Quota: ₹65,600/-
- Download the allotment letter and submit it along with original documents to the allotted college.
- Candidates who do not report to the allotted college after the first phase will still be eligible to participate in the second phase of counseling.
- Candidates admitted in the first counseling round are eligible for sliding into another college or course during the second round.
Second Round
- Similar to the first round, the seat allotment is conducted online with the same conditions.
- For Management Quota seats, if a candidate wishes to leave the seat after joining, they can do so within the time allowed by the university for a free exit without any penalty. However, leaving after this period incurs a penalty of ₹3 lakh.
- After the second round, no more claims for admission to other colleges or courses will be entertained for that academic year.
Mop-Up Round
- The mop-up round is also conducted online, with the same conditions as the second round.
- Candidates who were allotted seats in the second round but did not join are not eligible for the mop-up round. Those who left their seats after joining are also ineligible.
- After the second counseling, no more sliding or changes to college/course admissions are allowed for that academic year.
Withdrawal and Discontinuation: If a candidate wishes to withdraw from the course after admission, they must submit a request through the Principal of the college, along with a course discontinuation fee of ₹3,00,000 plus applicable GST. This payment should be made via demand draft to the university.
