Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 is expected to happen later this year, following the national NEET UG exam scheduled for May 5th. Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 Procedure 

Counselling Registrations

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit https://ugcq.ysruhs.com and go to the Home page.
  • Fill in your NEET UG – 2023 Roll Number and mandatory details like Caste Category, PwBD status, Email, Mobile Number, and Password.
  • Click on the "REGISTER" button.
  • An OTP will be sent to your registered Mobile and Email IDs. Enter this OTP on the screen.
  • Once verified, you'll receive a user ID and password for login.

Step 2: Payment

  • Log in using the provided credentials.
  • You'll be directed to the Payment Gateway.
  • Pay the registration fee based on your caste category.
  • After successful payment, you'll see a confirmation message. Take a printout if needed.
  • Click "EXIT" and then log in again to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Data Update

  • Log in again and fill out the application form displayed.
  • Upload a Passport Size Photo and Signature (both should be less than 100 KB and in JPEG or JPG format).
  • If you change your caste category during this step, you'll be prompted to pay any difference in the registration fee.
  • After filling the form, tick the declaration and click on the "update" button.
  • Review all details and click "update" again to confirm. You can edit or go back if needed.

Step 4: Document Upload

  • After successfully updating your data, you'll be directed to the document upload page.
  • Upload the required documents.

Stage 1: Registration (Before counselling starts)

  • Visit the official website: https://ugcq.ysruhs.com 
  • Click "Registration": Enter your NEET UG 2024 Roll Number.
  • Fill details: Caste category, PwBD status, email, mobile, password.
  • Verify with OTP: Sent to registered mobile and email.
  • Keep login details safe: User ID and password for future use.

Stage 2: Payment of Fee (During counselling)

  • Login again: Use your credentials from registration.
  • Go to Payment Gateway: Pay the registration fee based on your category.
  • Successful payment: Receive confirmation message and printout.

Stage 3: Uploading Documents (During counselling)

  • Login again: Use your credentials.
  • Upload documents: Scanned passport photo and signature (JPEG/JPG, <100KB).
  • Fill application form: Update details carefully.
  • Review and Submit: Double-check information before submitting.

Stage 4: Choice Filling and Locking (During counselling)

  • Choice filling window: Select preferred colleges and courses based on ranks.
  • Arrange choices: Prioritize options in descending order of preference.
  • Lock choices: Finalize your selections when satisfied.

Stage 5: Seat Allotment (After counselling)

  • Check seat allotment: Result based on rank, choices, and seat availability.
  • Accept or Reject seat: Choose "Accept" to proceed, "Reject" if not satisfied.

Stage 6: Document Verification and Reporting (After seat acceptance)

  • Report to allotted college: Visit designated college with documents.
  • Document verification: Submit originals for verification.
  • Fee payment: Pay required fees to confirm admission.

Stage 7: Admission (After verification and fee payment)

  • Congratulations!: You are now admitted to the college.

NEET UG Counselling 2024

NEET Counselling 2024 Primerily consist of Registrations, Choice filling, Choice Locking, Seat Allottement, Commenceme of Round of Counselling, Upgradtion and Reporting to Colleges which very Step to follow ensuring the smooth and effective way to complete counselling and get admitted to your desired colleges and making your dream come true as medical aspirant, Here’re some about steps to follow during Counselling Process;

Step 1: Registration 

  • First and Foremost step to follow for Counselling is registration, Visit to the Medical Counselling Committee’s official website (Click Here).
  • Then Locate the Registration link named ‘UG Counselling Registrations’ and Click on it
  • After registration link has opened carefully filled up the registration form mentioning you personal details, academic details and other important details.
  • After filling out registration form, make the payment for registration in make payment Section using the debit card or UPI.
  • Once the payment is done, you will have the ‘preview’ where you can preview the registration and check whether details you have provided are correct or Not. Once you checked all the details you have provided click on ‘okay’. Take print out of registration or download pdf form for future references 
  • Once registration is done click on the log out from the registration and move onward to choice filling Sections 

Step 2: Choice Filling 

  • Upon registration the next step to follow is ‘Choice Filling’ where you can prefer list of Medical and dental colleges of your choice ensuring the best options for medical journey 
  • After registration. Login again for the choice filling  with details you have provided during registration.
  • Once you have logged in to choice filling, now you can fillied up choices for list of collehges which are best suited for you. 
  • There is no limit for the list of choices you can select.
  • Onces the choice filling is done move on to Choice locking section.

Step 3: Choice Locking 

  • Once you selected all your perferred choice move on to the Choic Locking section ensuring that choices you have selected will be used in first round of NEET Counselling.
  • Once you checked throughly through your selected perference, start locking all the colleges.
  • Once you have locked all the choices, you can’t change the perference untill next round of counselling so carefully lock the choices

Step 4: Rounds of Counselling 

 The counselling for medical and dental will conducted with four rounds of Counselling while each round follows typical steps such as registration (for first round only. Auto Consideration for the other rounds), Choice filling and locking, seat allottment, result and document verification and reporting to allotted colleges;

Round 1:

  • Register: Pay fees and register on MCC website.
  • Choices: Fill and lock preferred colleges & courses.
  • Seat Allotment: Based on rank & choices, get a seat.
  • Results & Documents: Check result, upload certificates.
  • Reporting: Report to college with documents (upgrade option).

Round 2:

  • Automatic Consideration: No need to register if not allotted in Round 1.
  • Fresh Registration: Register for Round 2 if new or missed Round 1.
  • Choices: Fill new choices and lock them.
  • Seat Allotment & Reporting: Similar to Round 1.
  • Upgrade: Upgraded candidates need relieving from Round 1 seat.

Round 3:

  • Automatic Consideration: Similar to Round 2.
  • Fresh Registration: Similar to Round 2.
  • Choices & Reporting: Similar to Round 1 & 2.

Final Stray Vacancy Round:

  • Register: New registration required.
  • Elimination: Candidates with seats are eliminated.
  • Vacancy Round: Fill choices for vacant seats.
  • Seat Allotment: Based on merit in this round.
  • Joining: Join allotted seat or face consequences.

Step 5: Seat Allottment Process for the Rounds 

Here’s how seat allottment process works;

Common Steps for All Rounds:

  • Choices Locked: After the choice filling window closes, your choices are locked.
  • Rank Processing: Your NEET score and category are used to calculate your rank.
  • Seat Allocation Algorithm: Seats are allocated based on a pre-defined algorithm considering:
  1. Your rank in NEET Exam
  2. Your locked choices
  3. Seat availability in your chosen colleges and courses
  4. Reservation categories
  • Seat Allotment Results: Results are announced on the official website (MCC for AIQ, state websites for state quota).

Seat Acceptance:

If Allotted:

  • Download your allotment letter.
  • Upload required documents within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Report to the allotted college with original documents for physical verification.

Not Allotted:

  • Wait for the next round or consider Stray Vacancy Round (if applicable).

Step 6: Upgradations

Eligibility:

  • Only applicable if you were allotted a seat in Round 1 or 2.
  • Not possible in the Final Stray Vacancy Round.

Steps:

  • Check Upgradation Option: After each round's result, see if upgradation is allowed in the next round.
  • New Choices (Optional): If allowed, you can add or modify your choices for upgradation during the specified window.
  • Locking: Lock your final choices for upgradation before the deadline.
  • Upgradation Results: Wait for the next round's seat allotment results.
  • Upgraded or Not Upgraded:
  1. Upgraded: You'll receive an allotment letter for the new seat. Follow the acceptance steps (document upload, reporting) at the new college.
  2. Not Upgraded: You retain your previous seat allocation.

Steps 7: Reporting to Allotted Colleges 

Once you're allotted a seat in your desired college through NEET Counselling, it's time to secure your spot! Here's a simplified breakdown of the reporting process:

Steps:

  • Download Allotment Letter: Access and download your official seat allotment letter from the MCC website (for AIQ) or your state counselling authority's website.
  • Document Verification: Prepare all required documents as mentioned in the allotment letter and official guidelines. These typically include:
  1. Admit card, scorecard, mark sheets, certificates
  2. Proof of identity and date of birth
  3. Category certificate (if applicable)
  4. Allotment letter
  5. Photocopies of all documents
  • Reporting Deadline: Strictly adhere to the reporting deadline specified in your allotment letter. Late reporting can lead to cancellation of your seat.
  • Physical Reporting: Visit the allotted college in person within the stipulated timeframe. Carry the original documents for verification.
  • Document Verification at College: College authorities will verify your documents and confirm your admission.
  • Fee Payment: Pay the necessary fees as per the college's instructions.
  • Seat Confirmation: Upon successful document verification and fee payment, your seat in the college is confirmed.

Admission Process

After receiving your allotment letter:

  • Pay Fees: Follow instructions on the letter and university website to pay the centralized advance tuition fee.
  • Report to College: Visit the allotted college in person within the specified timeframe. Bring the following documents:

  3. High School (10th) certificate (age proof)
  4. Intermediate (10+2) certificate and marksheet
  5. NEET UG 2023 Admit Card and Result/Rank letter

  8. Kashmiri Migrants certificates (if applicable) - Refer to information bulletin

  • Complete Admission: Your admission is finalized only after receiving the official admission letter from the college within the specified time.
