Important Update on Special Stray Round Rules for NEET UG Counseling 2024:

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released an update regarding the Special Stray Round for NEET UG counseling. This round has unique rules, so please read carefully.

Who Can Participate?

Eligibility:
1.Only candidates who have already registered with MCC and paid the registration fee.
2.Candidates who have not been allotted a seat in previous rounds.
Note: New registrations are not allowed for this round.

Additional Security Deposit:

1.For All India Quota seats:
An additional deposit of ₹50,000 is required.
2.For Deemed University seats:
An additional deposit of ₹3,00,000 must be paid.

Forfeiture Policy:
If allotted a seat but you fail to join, your entire security deposit will be forfeited.
You will also be banned from NEET UG 2025.

Important Rules :

  1. Penalty for Non Reporting:
    If you leave a seat allotted in this round, you will face a oneyear ban from NEET UG.
  2. Reporting to College:
    Report to the allotted college within the specified time with all original documents.
  3. Candidate List Sharing:
    MCC will share the list of candidates allotted seats with the respective states.
    Such candidates will be removed from the state’s Special Stray Round list. Undertaking Requirement
    While filling choices, you must submit an undertaking stating:
    You agree to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round.
    You are not holding a seat from any previous rounds of All India Quota or State Quota. Who is NOT Eligible?
    Candidates who did not register or pay the fee earlier.
    Candidates holding a seat in:
    All India Quota
    State Quota
    Deemed University
    Candidates allotted seats in Round 3 or the Stray Vacancy Round of MCC.
